MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE of LBSC

The committee is elected by voting members at the Annual General Meeting held in May of each season.
The management committee's role is prescribed in the constitution as "to foster, encourage and promote the sport of sailing and to provide facilities for its members to assist them in their participation in the sport of sailing".

LBSC SAILING COMMITTEE

The committee is comprised of the senior Flag Officers and other members, who are responsible for the conduct of club racing and regattas hosted by the LBSC.
The committee will include persons to represent the interests of the Race Officers, the Bridge Crew including the person responsible for recording race results, the Protest Committee and our Australian Sailing (SA) delegates.

YOUTH FLAG OFFICERS and CLUB CAPTAINS at LBSC

A Youth Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore are selected by the senior flag officers to represent the interests of youth sailors at LBSC. 
The youth flag officers will be allocated roles to assist and support the senior flag officers and provide these youth sailors with experience in all aspect of club administration.
Two junior fleet Club Captains are also selected from our junior class members

CLASS REPRESENTATIVES SUB-COMMITTEE

The committee is comprised of the senior Flag Officers, the Race Secretary, a race official, a representative from sail training committee and representatives from all classes sailed at Largs Bay.
The committee is responsible for establishing guidelines for race management, drafting the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions and planning the sailing program.
Class delegates are responsible for representing the interest of their class and put the class position on issues that affect their class during club racing.
