The Optimist Class Squad program is designed to provide high performance training to sailors looking to compete at State and National levels. Training will include advanced boat handling, sail trim and race management aiming to prepare young sailors to completed at the highest levels

Coaching will be provided by Australian Sailing qualified coaches and sessions will generally be after school on week nights

Registrations for the Optimist Class Squad are appointed by invitation only. If you wish to be considered for selection please contact the Largs Training Co-ordinator.

Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
