Largs Bay Sailing club is offering the opportunity for members and friends to do their 'Apply First Aid Training' at a much reduced cost. The course will be a full day practical workshop with attention to incidents that we may encounter on any Saturday sailing, such as drowning, heat stroke, hypothermia and snake bite. The cost is $85/person, for a minimum of 10 people. On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. Even if you’ve done a first aid course in the past, current industry standards state this course must be updated every three years, with the CPR component to be updated annually. The course will be held at the Largs Bay Sailing Club on Sunday 12 January 2020 from 9am to 5pm. Numbers are limited so book early.
