Privacy

Australian Sailing recognises that privacy is important and providing personal information is an act of trust. Australian Sailing takes that seriously, and will manage your Information only in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at: https://www.sailing.org.au/about/privacy-policy/

Individuals must promptly advise their Affiliated Club of any change of name, address or other relevant identification and contact details, either in writing or electronically.

Individuals acknowledge and consent to Australian Sailing’s use of their personal information for the purpose of sending electronically or by other means, newsletters from Australian Sailing and Affiliated Clubs, which may include information of sponsors or other third parties.

Conditions of Membership

Largs Bay Sailing Club Inc.  (ABN: 17 566 930 992)

Membership fees are due on 1st July each year.

All member shall comply with the LBSC Constitution and Bylaws, which state the fundamental principles and precedents according to which the LBSC is to be governed and the powers and duties of club officials and members.
New applicants joining the club must be nominated and seconded by a current financial member.

Boats with crews, who are not financial sailing members, will not be recorded in results of club races sailed after the 1st November, until all the boat’s crew member’s fees are paid.

All financial members of the Largs Bay SC will receive a “LBSC member's number" (eg LB 987) which may be used as proof of current membership and will enable that member to receive discounted prices for goods and services purchased at the club.

All financial members of the Largs Bay SC are also allocated a Australian Sailing membership number, that must be quoted to compete in regattas hosted at AS member clubs and also provide access to the services, personal accident insurance and privileges provided by AS.

Club members who play squash on the club courts are not covered by the AS personal accident cover and shall assume any risk and take full responsibility and waive personal injury, death, damage or loss of personal property associated with playing squash on the LBSC courts and shall release the club from any such claims.  
LBSC sailing and social members, who regularly play squash at LBSC may secure their own personal accident insurance or consider joining Squash SA to secure personal insurance through the Squash Australia Policy.
Members should read the LBSC Policy on "Conditions for Use of Squash Courts by Club Members"

All Squash Team members shall also be members of Squash SA, which provides personal accident cover for their members through the Squash Australia Insurance Policy.
