Training and Coaching Programs at LBSC
Largs Bay Sailing Club (LBSC) offers a range of sail training and coaching programs to suit the needs of beginners, intermediate and serious racing sailors.
YOUTH SAIL TRAINING PROGRAMS
Training is held on Saturday mornings commencing at 9:15 am. The first session each season usually begins on the third week of October - the weekend after the season Opening Day. Training activities will end at about 11:45 am, so that those sailors who wish may have lunch before sailing in the afternoon club races.
On arrival at the club, all participants should report to the Registration Desk on the balcony in front of the sailing club to register their attendance.
Sailors will be grouped according to skills and experience and coaches will be allocated to each group before the boats go on the water each week.

The Tackers courses include approximately 16 hours of tuition; 8 sessions prior to Christmas and 8 sessions in the new year. Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion for the Tackers 1, Tackers 2 and Tackers 3 programs after they complete each course.
