ZHIK YOUTH SAIL SA 2024 YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS -
The 2024 YOUTH SAIL SA Youth Championships is open to sailors under 23, sailing in the following classes
SInglehanded - Optimist - Green, Intermediate and Open. O'Pen Skiff - Silver and Gold, Aero, Laser - 4.7 and Laser Radial
Doublehanded - Int 420, Int 470, Int 29er, Mirror and Int Cadet
Optimist Green will be run on a separate course, with on-course coaching, using the Introductory Rules of Racing - Perfect for beginner racers
The Zhik Youth Sail SA 2024 Youth Championship event includes a two-day regatta for U23 Youth Classes.
The Green Fleet program targets sailors who have recently completed a Tackers 3 Learn to sail program or equivalent. The focus is on having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing conducted by qualified instructors/foundation coaches and is an ideal way to participate in your first regatta.
